ITSPA Awards Winners Announced
21st March 2012

ITSPA has unveiled the winners of its 4th annual Awards, sponsored by Magrathea. The event is designed to celebrate innovation and best practice in the VoIP industry. A full list of finalists and winners is available below.

This year, due to the increase in demand for services, the business VoIP categories have been extended into three categories along with the inclusion of the ITSPA “members’ pick” category.

The event took place at the House of Commons Members Dining Room on 21st March 2012, hosted by Dr Julian Huppert MP, Vice Chair of the Parliamentary Internet Communications and Technology Forum.

Award categories this year included, Best Consumer VoIP, Best Business ITSP (Micro, SME and Enterprise), Best VoIP CPE, Best VoIP Infrastructure, Most Innovative VoIP Product and the ITSPA Members’ Pick.

Malden Electronics conducted the technical testing for three award categories; Best Consumer VoIP; Best Business ITSP (Micro); and Best Business (SMEs). Entrants in these categories underwent two months of technical testing. Separately, entrants to all categories had to complete a written self-assessment, which were independently reviewed by the ITSPA Awards judges.

The ITSPA Members’ Pick was a selected shortlist from the membership, outlining companies and services, who they believed had provided real value to the industry in recent years.

Although we did not win our category it was great to be one of the finalists and to visit the Members Dining Room at the House of Commons. The testing and the submission provided an objective review of our solutions in this space. The FutureLine http://www.futureline.net.uk/ cloud solutions portfolio includes the FutureLine V.o.i.p solution which was developed by Poundbury Systems to provide a low cost, flexible and upgradeable  Cisco telephony solution for the small and medium sized business.
