Service Delivery Manager

At Poundbury Systems Limited we are dedicated to supporting our client’s IT and communications needs. Whether through IT, telephony or cloud based services, we offer simple packaged solutions that meet our client’s needs and keep them productive. Our business is growing and we are looking for a person to join and grow with us.

Based near Dorchester, the Service and Delivery Manager will be at the centre of this exciting business.

You will be responsible for the effective management of the technical team. The aim being to deliver consistently excellent Customer service whilst simultaneously developing your internal Team’s capabilities to meet current and future business requirements.

Ideally you will hold a technical degree and / or qualification and have been responsible for successful delivery of significant technology based projects in a structured and methodical manner, enabling you to engage meaningfully with our Customers and manage the integration and servicing of their needs. You will also have experience of building and developing effective and high performing teams.

You will be equally at ease dealing with Customers as you are your own Team, understanding commercial opportunities and assisting in their execution and ensuring the Team are effectively and efficiently delivering excellent service.

The successful person will;

  • have proven project management experience (& maybe a formal qualification)
  • be commercially and financially astute
  • have experience of building and running effective teams
  • have excellent interpersonal skills
  • be well organised
  • have a can do / will do attitude
  • be of graduate calibre
  • hold a full UK driving licence

In return, we will offer a competitive salary (£30-40k pa depending on experience), initial 20 days annual holiday (rising to a maximum 25 days based on service) plus public holidays, stakeholder pension contributions and a dynamic and engaging team environment.

This is a full-time role, circa 40 hours per week, although this may occasionally flex to ensure Customer deliveries are achieved.

Technical Support Engineer

At Poundbury Systems Limited we are dedicated to supporting our client’s IT and communications needs. Our business is growing and we are looking for a person to join and grow with us.

Based near Dorchester, our Technical Service Engineers deliver our Customer’s services either from the office or at the Customer’s site.

The ideal candidate will hold or be close to completing Microsoft and Cisco qualifications. Experience in TDM and VoIP telephony would be advantageous.

The successful person will;

  • Have an understanding of;
    • Active directory
    • Exchange
    • SQL
    • Windows Server
    • Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 & Office 365
    • DNS, DHCP
    • Routing
  • have a high standard of written and spoken English
  • be well organised and Customer focused
  • have a can do / will do attitude towards problem solving
  • Full UK driving licence

In return, we will offer a competitive salary (£16-18k pa depending on experience), initial 20 days annual holiday (rising to a maximum 25 days based on service), stakeholder pension contributions and a dynamic team environment.
